Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who work at an organisation that is served by a participating Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- People who score 33 or higher on a standardised checklist used to assess PTSD symptoms (called the PCL-5)
- People whose psychiatric medications (if any) have remained unchanged for at least 4 weeks
For the interview/qualitative portion of the study only:
- People already enrolled in the main trial who either did or did not respond to the treatment
Who may not be able to join:
- People with severe memory or thinking difficulties that, in the investigators' judgement, would make it hard to follow the study requirements
- People assessed as being at high risk of suicide, based on a specific screening tool used by the trial site
- People who currently need treatment to safely stop using alcohol or other substances
- People currently experiencing active psychosis or bipolar disorder that is not being managed, as measured by a specific assessment tool used by the trial team
- People currently receiving a trauma-focused talking therapy, such as Prolonged Exposure or Cognitive Processing Therapy
- People who do not speak English (confirm with trial site regarding the reason for this requirement)
