Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with cervical or endometrial (uterine) cancer, confirmed through a tissue sample test
- People whose doctors have recommended radiation therapy to the whole pelvic area after surgery or treatment, with or without additional cancer-fighting medicines
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who are willing and able to sign a written agreement to take part in the trial
- People who have a general health and activity level rated as reasonably functional (on a standard medical scale called ECOG, scored 0 to 2) within the 3 months before joining (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously had a course of radiation therapy to the pelvic area
- People whose cancer has spread to parts of the body outside the pelvis
- People who have an active inflammatory bowel disease (such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis)
- People who are not able to give their own informed consent to participate
