Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (a form of MS with flare-ups and periods of recovery) based on recognised 2017 diagnostic standards, and you have had at least one relapse OR at least one new area of disease activity on a brain scan in the past 12 months
- You are between 18 and 55 years old
- Your level of physical disability from MS is relatively low to moderate (confirm with trial site)
- You have had a brain MRI scan within the last 6 months
- If you are a woman who could become pregnant, you are using a highly effective form of contraception for the duration of the study and for 12 months after the last dose
- You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
- You are covered by social insurance
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a progressive form of MS (either primary or secondary progressive MS)
- You have been treated with certain MS medications (mitoxantrone, cladribine, alemtuzumab, or anti-CD20 therapies) in the last two years
- You have taken fingolimod or natalizumab (other MS treatments) in the last four weeks
- You have received high-dose steroid treatment in the last 30 days
- You have had an MS relapse (flare-up) within the last 30 days
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have another neurological or serious systemic illness alongside your MS
- You are currently taking part in, or have taken part in, another treatment trial in the last 6 months
- You are unable to understand or sign the consent form
- You have a reason you cannot have an MRI scan (such as a metal implant)
- You have received a live vaccine within the last 6 weeks
- You currently have an active cancer
- You currently have an active infection of any kind
- You have severe heart failure or serious uncontrolled heart disease
- You have tested positive for HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or tuberculosis
- You have a severely weakened immune system, including very low levels of certain white blood cells (confirm with trial site)
- You have a known allergy or serious reaction to any of the medications used in this study
- Your liver function blood test results are significantly above the normal range (confirm with trial site)
- Your platelet count (cells that help blood clot) is below a certain level (confirm with trial site)
- You are legally under guardianship, judicial protection, or supervision, or you are currently in custody
