  • You are currently taking a medication called memantine (sometimes used for memory conditions).
  • You have a current or past problem with misuse of alcohol or other substances.
  • You experience symptoms such as false beliefs (delusions), seeing or hearing things that aren't there (hallucinations), or episodes of confusion (delirium).
  • You have severe vision or hearing loss.
  • You would be unable to follow the study's requirements and schedule.
