Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Adults aged 18 years or older
  • People who have been clinically suspected of having muscle-invasive bladder cancer (a type of bladder cancer that has grown into the muscle wall of the bladder)
  • People whose cancer has not spread to the lymph nodes or other parts of the body
  • People who are able and willing to provide written consent to participate

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who are unable or unwilling to have a type of detailed MRI scan called a multiparametric MRI (mpMRI)
  • People who are not well enough to undergo a procedure called TURBT (a surgical procedure to remove bladder tissue for examination)
  • People who are not well enough to receive treatment aimed at curing the cancer
  • People who have a history of cancer — including bladder cancer — with some exceptions: people with a history of non-melanoma skin cancer, people with prostate cancer that is being monitored rather than actively treated, or people who had another type of solid tumour and have been cancer-free for at least 5 years since their last treatment may still be considered (confirm with trial site)
