Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older, of any sex
- People with acral melanoma (a type of melanoma that typically appears on palms, soles, or under nails) that has been confirmed by laboratory testing and has either come back, cannot be fully removed by surgery, or has spread to other parts of the body (stage III or IV)
- People who have not yet received any drug-based cancer treatments for this condition
- People whose cancer can be measured using standard imaging methods, as required by a specific set of medical measurement guidelines
- People who are able to carry out normal daily activities with little or no limitation (confirm with trial site what level of activity qualifies)
- People whose organs such as the liver and kidneys are working well enough to participate (confirm specific requirements with trial site)

Who may not be able to join:

- People who have had, or currently have, another type of cancer — except those who have been fully treated for certain skin cancers (basal cell carcinoma) or early-stage cervical cancer
- People with an active autoimmune disease or a past history of autoimmune disease
- People with serious heart conditions, including moderate-to-severe heart failure, unstable chest pain, a heart attack within the past year, or certain irregular heart rhythms that require treatment
- People who received a live vaccine within 4 weeks before the trial's first dose
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- People considered unsuitable for the trial by the lead doctor or treating physician
