Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older
- You have been diagnosed with NMO (Neuromyelitis Optica) or a related condition called NMO spectrum disorder, based on specific 2015 diagnostic guidelines
- You have had at least one severe episode (called an "attack") in the past year that needed strong emergency treatment, OR at least two such attacks in the past two years

- You have taken part in another clinical trial within the last 3 months, or have had cancer currently or within the last 5 years
- You are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or could become pregnant during the study, or you have a significant problem with your heart, liver, kidneys, or bone marrow
- You have a history of blood clots in your veins, or your doctor considers you to be at high risk of developing blood clots
