Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are 18 years old or older
• You are in generally good physical condition and able to carry out everyday activities, and your doctor expects you to live at least 3 more months (confirm with trial site)
• You have been diagnosed with a specific stage of non-small cell lung cancer (stage IIB–IIIB) that has a particular genetic change in one of the following: RET, BRAF, ERBB2, MET, or related genes — confirmed by a lab test
• Your lungs are healthy enough to tolerate surgery

• You are willing to follow the study plan, attend follow-up visits, and have signed a consent form agreeing to take part

Who may not be able to join:

• Your lung cancer is at an early stage (stage I) or has spread widely to other parts of the body (stage IV)
• You have previously had any anti-cancer treatment or radiotherapy
• Your genetic test results show certain other specific mutations (such as EGFR, ALK, ROS1, or others combined with MDM2/MDM4 changes) (confirm with trial site)
• You have been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer, or a mixed type including small cell lung cancer
• You have had active bleeding in the 6 months before joining, are on blood-thinning or clot-dissolving medication, are coughing up blood, or have a condition that puts you at clear risk of bleeding in the digestive tract
• You have a serious underlying health condition — such as a significant heart, lung, or infection-related illness — or a digestive problem that could affect how your body absorbs medication (such as difficulty swallowing, chronic diarrhea, or bowel blockage), or you have had your entire stomach removed
• You have an active autoimmune disease (a condition where your immune system attacks your own body), unless it is a mild or well-controlled condition such as type 1 diabetes, an underactive thyroid managed with hormones, or a skin condition not needing systemic treatment
• You have active hepatitis B or hepatitis C
• You have HIV or AIDS
• You have had another active cancer within the last 5 years
• You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you are able to have children but are unwilling or unable to use effective contraception during the study
• You are unlikely to follow the treatment plan or attend required check-ups
