Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older.
- People who have a growth or abnormal tissue in the upper digestive tract (such as the stomach or oesophagus) that is larger than 10mm, and where the growth is located in one of the following layers of the digestive tract wall: the inner lining (mucosa) or just beneath it (submucosa), a deeper muscle layer (muscularis propria), or a combination of these layers — depending on the type of procedure being considered (confirm with trial site).
Who may not be able to join:
- People under 18 years of age.
- People who are unable to give their own informed consent to participate.
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
- People who have a condition that affects normal blood clotting, or who are taking certain blood-thinning medications (such as clopidogrel, prasugrel, warfarin, or dabigatran) and are unable to safely stop these medications around the time of the procedure.
