Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are able to give written consent to take part in the study
- People aged between 18 and 65 years
- People who have been diagnosed with primary or secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) according to recognised diagnostic guidelines, and who have symptoms related to the nerve pathways that control movement (the corticospinal tract)
- People whose MS-related disability is at or below a certain level on a standard MS disability scale (EDSS score of 6.5 or lower)

- People with relapsing-remitting MS, or progressive MS where the main symptoms involve balance and coordination problems (cerebellar involvement) or thinking and memory difficulties, rather than movement-related symptoms
- People who are pregnant or who have active plans to become pregnant
- People who have other conditions that may affect how the brain forms and changes connections — for example, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, or a history of stroke
- People who have medical reasons that prevent them from safely having transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), a type of non-invasive brain stimulation used in this trial (confirm with trial site)
- People who have, or have had, an unstable medical condition such as cancer or a serious infection
- People taking medications that are known to increase the risk of seizures, such as Fampridine or 4-Aminopyridine
- People currently taking medications that may affect how the brain's connections work, such as L-dopa or anti-epileptic drugs
