Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are male or female and are 18 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with one of the following conditions: rheumatoid arthritis, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma), inflammatory muscle diseases (such as dermatomyositis or polymyositis), mixed connective tissue disease, lupus, primary Sjögren's syndrome, pulmonary fibrosis linked to autoimmune conditions, primary systemic vasculitis, psoriasis, ankylosing spondylitis, reactive arthritis, spondyloarthritis, or sarcoidosis
- You have been diagnosed with a type of lung scarring or inflammation (called interstitial lung disease), confirmed by a specialist and a specific type of detailed lung scan (high-resolution CT scan)
- You are willing to sign a consent form allowing researchers to use information about your condition (for new participants joining directly)
- Existing medical records from patients (since 2012) may also be used, even if those patients are no longer in contact with the clinic, as long as the records contain key details such as initials, date of birth, gender, diagnosis date, and confirmed diagnosis information
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose lung condition (a specific type called usual interstitial pneumonitis) was identified by a tissue sample (biopsy) and is not linked to an autoimmune or connective tissue disease
- People whose lung inflammation developed as a result of chemotherapy or radiation therapy treatment
- People whose medical records do not include a complete diagnosis of interstitial lung disease confirmed by clinical assessment and either a biopsy or a high-resolution CT scan

Time to first exacerbation: time in months elapsed until the first exacerbation from the diagnosis; Number of exacerbation per year (frequency of exacerbation); Percent of pulmonary fibrosis: grade of parenchymal involvement evidenced by high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT); Change in 6-minute walk tests (6-MWT) over time; King's Brief Interstitial Lung Disease Questionnaire (K-BILD) score change over time; Saint George Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ)-I score change over time
