- People who have a known allergy or medical reason to avoid any of the ingredients in the product called "Gel X," which contains: water, saccharin sodium, PVP, taurine, zinc gluconate, PEG-40, hydrogenated castor oil, pullulan, or flavourings
- People who have a neurological or psychiatric condition that would make it difficult to apply the treatment themselves
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial
