Who might be able to join this trial:

• People diagnosed with a specific type of head and neck cancer (squamous cell carcinoma) affecting the mouth, throat, voice box, or nearby areas, at a certain stage of advancement, who have already received pre-surgery treatment and then had surgery to remove the cancer — all within the past 6 weeks.
• People whose surgical tissue samples showed either no remaining cancer cells, or very few remaining cancer cells (10% or less) after pre-surgery treatment.
• People whose surgery removed all cancer with clear edges — meaning no cancer cells were found at the borders of the removed tissue.
• People whose cancer had not spread beyond the lymph nodes into surrounding tissue.
• People aged 18 to 70 years old.
• People who are generally able to carry out daily activities, ranging from fully active to capable of limited self-care (confirm with trial site for exact fitness level required).
• People expected to live for more than 6 months.
• People whose blood counts, liver, kidney, and clotting function all meet certain minimum health levels as measured by blood tests (confirm with trial site for exact values).
• Women who are able to become pregnant and agree to use contraception during treatment and for 3 months afterwards.
• People who have agreed to take part voluntarily and have signed a consent form.

Who may not be able to join:

• Women who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.

• People with serious or uncontrolled heart conditions or symptoms.
• People with serious active infections.
• People with a history of immune system disorders, HIV, other conditions that weaken the immune system, or who have had an organ or bone marrow transplant.
• People with active tuberculosis (TB), a TB infection in the past year, or a past TB infection that was never properly treated.
• People with active hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection, based on specific blood test results (confirm with trial site for exact thresholds).
• People with a known history of misusing alcohol, recreational drugs, or substances that affect the mind.
• People considered unsuitable by the trial investigators for any other reason.
