  • You are an adult with advanced (stage III or IV) melanoma, or a skin cancer (squamous cell or basal cell carcinoma) that cannot be removed by surgery
  • For the retrospective group (looking back at past treatment): you have already been receiving a specific type of immunotherapy (anti-PD1, with or without other similar drugs) for your skin cancer for at least 90 days, with at least 6 months of follow-up recorded
  • For the prospective group (following you going forward): you are about to start the same type of immunotherapy for your skin cancer and have not previously received it for this condition
  • Any previous similar immunotherapy given after surgery is acceptable, as long as it was stopped at least 6 months before your current treatment began
  • A previous treatment called interferon is acceptable if it was also stopped at least 6 months before your current treatment
  • Previous targeted therapy (a specific type of cancer drug) before starting immunotherapy is acceptable
  • Previous radiotherapy may be acceptable depending on where it was given (confirm with trial site)
