Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are willing to take part voluntarily, have been fully informed about the study, and are able to follow all trial procedures
- People aged between 18 and 75 years old (including those exact ages)
- People who have had a positive hepatitis B surface antigen (a marker of hepatitis B infection) for 6 months or more
- People who have been diagnosed with hepatitis C

- People diagnosed with a liver condition related to metabolic problems (called MAFLD), where liver scarring has reached a certain level of severity as measured by a specialised liver scan, combined with more than 5% fat in the liver and either overweight/obesity, type 2 diabetes, or other metabolic issues
- People diagnosed with MAFLD who also have abnormal blood sugar levels, including type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, or blood sugar or haemoglobin A1c readings within specific ranges (confirm with trial site for exact values)
- People who have a parent, sibling, or child who has been diagnosed with liver cancer
Who may not be able to join:
- People younger than 18 or older than 75 years of age
- People who have already been diagnosed with liver cancer before enrolling
- People with a severe mental illness or significant cognitive impairment
- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant
- People who have taken part in another clinical trial within the 3 months before this study begins, or who are currently in another clinical trial
- People whose treating doctor believes they are unlikely to be suitable, for reasons such as difficulty understanding the study requirements, concerns about ability to follow the study plan, poor general health, or any other factors the doctor considers relevant
