Who might be able to join this trial:

Who may not be able to join:

  • People with certain active health conditions, including inflammation-related illness, active COVID-19, autoimmune disease, infection, liver problems, reduced kidney function, digestive disease, cancer, or a psychiatric condition.
  • People with poorly controlled diabetes, specifically those with an HbA1c (a blood sugar measure) above 10%, or those currently using insulin.
  • People whose weight has changed by more than 5 kilograms in the past month.
  • People who self-report current alcohol or drug misuse.
  • People who are currently taking blood-thinning (anticoagulant) medications.
