Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who have been diagnosed with invasive skin melanoma at a certain level of severity, meaning the tumour is either between 1.0–2.0 mm thick with signs of ulceration (skin breakdown), or more than 2.0 mm thick regardless of ulceration

  • People who have a known allergy or sensitivity to a medication called tranexamic acid (TXA)
  • People who have a known diagnosis of epilepsy that has been treated, or who have had seizures in the past
  • People whose kidneys are not working well enough, as measured by a specific kidney function test result (eGFR between 0 and 50) (confirm with trial site)
  • People who are currently taking tranexamic acid
