Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are generally able to carry out daily activities, either fully or with some limitations (your doctor will assess this using a standard scale)
- You have been formally diagnosed through a tissue test with one of these specific cancer types: melanoma, soft tissue sarcoma, head and neck cancer, gynaecological cancer, Merkel cell carcinoma, thymic carcinoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumours (GIST), or bladder/urinary tract cancer
- You have cancer that has spread to a limited number of sites in the body, and all of those sites can be treated with the goal of removing or destroying them completely
- Your cancer spread (metastases) can be newly discovered at the same time as the main tumour, or found later, or returning after previous treatment, or growing in a limited way despite treatment
- The planned radiation treatment must reach a minimum level of intensity, delivered in no more than 10 sessions (confirm with trial site)
- You can take part whether or not you are currently receiving or have previously received other cancer treatments such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy
Who may not be able to join:
- You have previously received radiation treatment to the exact same site where the cancer has spread
- You are unable to give your formal agreement to take part in the trial
- You have a medical reason why you cannot safely receive the type of targeted radiation therapy used in this trial (confirm with trial site)
