  • People with significant heart conditions, such as uncontrolled or symptomatic irregular heartbeat, heart failure, or a heart attack or serious heart problem within the past six months.
  • People who currently have another cancer, unless they finished curative treatment with no known active disease for five or more years, or unless they had certain types of skin cancer or non-invasive cancer that was fully treated with no current signs of disease.
  • People who have HIV/AIDS, syphilis, active hepatitis B (with detectable virus in the blood), or hepatitis C.
  • People with any other medical condition or active infection that the trial investigators believe could interfere with the study or put the participant at risk.
  • People who are unable to understand or follow the trial procedures.
  • People who have had major surgery within the four weeks before joining the trial.
  • People who have previously received a bone marrow or stem cell transplant from a donor.
