Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) according to a standardised clinical assessment, with a symptom severity score of 25 or above on that assessment
- People who have been diagnosed with HIV, confirmed through medical records or HIV testing
- People who have been on the same psychiatric or mental health medications for at least 2 months before joining, and who are expected to stay on that same medication throughout the trial
Who may not be able to join:

- People who have been diagnosed with Bipolar I disorder
- People who are currently experiencing serious thoughts of suicide or self-harm
- People who are currently dealing with a substance use disorder (such as alcohol or drug dependence)
- People who have an organic mental syndrome (a brain condition caused by a physical or medical issue) or an intellectual disability
- People who have unstable medical conditions unrelated to HIV
