Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 65 years old
- You are comfortable reading and speaking in English
- You are able to understand and agree to participate in the study on your own
- You are able to lie flat on your back for up to 2 hours (this is needed for the sauna sessions)
- You had COVID-19 at least 12 weeks ago, confirmed by a positive antibody test, a positive PCR test, or a doctor's assessment of clear Long Covid symptoms
- You have significant ongoing fatigue that started after your COVID-19 infection, based on a standard fatigue questionnaire score (confirm with trial site)
- If you are able to become pregnant, you must be willing to use an accepted form of birth control during the study
Who may not be able to join:
- Your fatigue is caused by a condition other than Long Covid, such as a pre-existing chronic fatigue diagnosis, thyroid problems, multiple sclerosis, or similar conditions
- You have a known sensitivity to infrared heat, or you have had a serious heat stroke in the past
- You are currently breastfeeding, pregnant, or planning to become pregnant during the study
- You are currently experiencing thoughts of suicide
- You have a history of bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, or substance use problems within the past year
- A urine drug test shows the presence of illegal drugs
- You have a serious unstable health condition
- Your body size or shape means you cannot safely fit into the sauna device, including a BMI over 40 (confirm with trial site)
- You have back pain that would stop you from lying on a firm surface
- You take medication that affects your body's ability to regulate temperature, and it cannot be safely paused before treatment (confirm with trial site)
- You have breast implants
- You experience claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces) that would prevent you from staying inside the sauna
- Your heart health is considered unsafe, based on an abnormal heart tracing (ECG) at screening or a doctor's assessment
- You have a history of or current diagnosis of blood clots or a condition that increases clotting risk
- You have a history of hemophilia (a bleeding disorder)
- You have a history of seizures, including fever-related seizures
- You have started any new treatments or medications for Long Covid within the past 3 months
- The study doctors feel you would not be able to safely complete the study for any other reason
