Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have a current primary diagnosis of PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) based on standard diagnostic guidelines (DSM-5)
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who can read and communicate fluently in Swedish
- People who have been on a stable dose of any psychiatric medication for at least 4 weeks before entering the study
- People who have daily access to a computer or internet-connected device
Who may not be able to join:
- People for whom PTSD is not their main or primary concern
- People who have started or changed the dose of any psychiatric medication within the 4 weeks before treatment begins
- People experiencing serious mental health symptoms such as mania, psychosis, alcohol or substance use disorders, or a current risk of suicide that requires immediate professional attention
- People who are currently receiving trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (a type of talking therapy) or EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing, another type of therapy for trauma)
- People who are currently in an ongoing situation involving trauma or threat, such as living with a violent partner
