Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have a primary diagnosis of PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)
- People who are fluent in Swedish
- People who are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the trial
- People who are able to attend either an internet-based version of a therapy program or 15 weekly in-person therapy sessions
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have started taking or changed the dose of any psychiatric medication in the 4 weeks before treatment begins
- People who have serious mental health conditions such as mania, psychosis, alcohol or substance use disorders, or who are currently at risk of suicide in a way that needs immediate care
- People who are currently receiving another evidence-based therapy that focuses on trauma
- People who are still in an ongoing situation where they feel threatened or unsafe due to trauma, such as living with a violent partner
