Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed with a newly confirmed (by biopsy) advanced-stage gynaecological cancer — not including ovarian cancer — or endometrial (uterine) cancer, where the treatment plan involves radiation therapy or combined chemotherapy and radiation aimed at curing the condition.
- People with a gynaecological cancer (not including ovarian cancer) that has come back, where no radiation or chemotherapy-radiation treatment was given before, and where a curative radiation-based treatment is now planned.
- People whose cancer has spread to lymph nodes near the large blood vessel in the abdomen (para-aortic nodes), up to a certain spinal level (L2), may also be eligible — but people with cancer that has spread further than this are not.
- People whose cancer has been staged using the FIGO (2018) and TNM (version 9, 2021) classification systems.
- People who have already given consent to participate in a related study called the MOMENTUM study (NCT04075305), which involves sharing clinical data with other research sites across Europe.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a strong medical reason why they cannot have an MRI scan.
