Who might be able to join this trial:

For people with OCD:

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with OCD
  • At least one standard treatment for OCD has not worked for you in the past
  • You are willing to fast before the main study session, not join other clinical trials during the study, and follow the study's medication procedures
  • You are able to give your informed consent to participate

For healthy volunteers (people without OCD):

  • You are between 18 and 65 years old
  • You are able to give your informed consent to participate

Who may not be able to join:

For people with OCD:

  • You have previously used or been exposed to the medications naltrexone or ketamine
  • You have any current or past physical or mental health condition that the study doctor feels would make it unsafe for you to participate (confirm with trial site)
  • You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or capable of becoming pregnant and are not using an effective form of birth control
  • You have metal in your body that would make it unsafe for you to have an MRI scan

For healthy volunteers:

  • You currently take or have ever taken medication for mental health conditions
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have metal in your body that would make it unsafe for you to have an MRI scan
