Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older
- You have been diagnosed with episodic migraine (with or without aura) for more than 12 months, based on recognised international headache guidelines
- You experienced migraines on 4 to 14 days per month in the 3 months before the screening visit
- You experienced migraines on 4 to 14 days per month during the initial assessment/monitoring period
- You successfully completed a migraine diary during the initial monitoring period
Who may not be able to join:
- You have migraines alongside tension-type headaches or other types of primary headaches
- You are currently taking any of the following migraine prevention medications: sodium valproate, topiramate, beta-blockers, tricyclic antidepressants, SNRIs, flunarizine, verapamil, lisinopril, or candesartan
- You have taken any of those listed prevention medications within the past 3 months
- You take ergotamine or triptan medications more than 10 days per month
- You take anti-inflammatory painkillers (NSAIDs) or paracetamol more than 15 days per month
- You take opioid (strong) painkillers more than 4 days per month
- You take blood-thinning (anticoagulant) medications
- You have another ongoing long-term pain condition, such as fibromyalgia or nerve pain (confirm with trial site)
- You have a known allergy or sensitivity to Vitamin K2
- You have a known allergy to soy protein, cheese, eggs, or meat
- You have a history of blood clots (thrombotic events)
- You have a diagnosed blood clotting disorder or any related condition
- You have had a heart or cardiovascular event in the past month
- You are currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant
- You are currently breastfeeding
- You are unable to swallow or take oral (by mouth) medications
- You have a known condition affecting how your intestines absorb or move food/medications (confirm with trial site)
- You have atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm condition)
- You have an active cancer diagnosis
- You have had any acute (sudden/short-term) illness in the past month
