Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)
- You have recently and repeatedly harmed yourself on purpose
- You are currently having thoughts of suicide
- You have difficulty managing your emotions
- You are a Veteran who is eligible to receive mental health care through the VA (Veterans Health Administration) at one of the participating locations
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are willing to take part in all activities involved in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You are not able to keep yourself safe on your own without constant support
- You are currently receiving, or have received in the past year, a full course of DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) or PE (Prolonged Exposure therapy)
- You are planning to move away or will be unavailable for more than 4 weeks at any point during the next 18 months
- You are not able to fully understand the study procedures due to a language barrier with English, or because of a moderate to severe difficulty with memory or thinking (confirm with trial site)
