Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are regularly attending and being followed up at the relevant medical department
- People who have been diagnosed with at least one of the following conditions: coronary artery disease, an abnormal heart rhythm (arrhythmia), heart valve disease, aortic dissection, a mass or growth on the heart, myocarditis (inflammation of the heart), high blood pressure (hypertension), cardiomyopathy (a disease of the heart muscle), a structural heart problem, a stroke or reduced blood flow to the brain (ischemic cerebrovascular disease), bleeding in or around the brain (hemorrhagic cerebrovascular disease), or a growth or lesion inside the skull
Who may not be able to join:
- Children under 3 years of age, or people over 80 years of age
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People who have declined to give their consent to participate in the study
- People who are currently unable to give consent themselves (for example, due to being in a coma), where no legal representative is available to consent on their behalf, and where the person may not recover enough to consent later (confirm with trial site)
