Who might be able to join this trial:
- You (or your child's legal guardian) must be willing and able to sign a written consent form to participate.

Who may not be able to join:
- People who currently misuse drugs or medications may not be eligible.
- People who have had a major operation within the last six months may not be eligible.
- People with serious failure of a major organ (such as the heart, kidneys, or liver) may not be eligible.
- People who have lasting thinking or memory problems following a stroke or a serious head injury may not be eligible.
- People who have ongoing health problems as a result of a previous stay in an intensive care unit may not be eligible.
- People who have certain infections or conditions, including syphilis, Lyme disease, AIDS, or hepatitis B or C, may not be eligible.
- People diagnosed with certain neurological or immune-related conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, lupus, Sjögren's syndrome, or similar illnesses, may not be eligible.
- People with an active or recent cancer diagnosis may not be eligible.
- People with severe depression or other serious mental health conditions may not be eligible.
- People with a primary sleep disorder (a sleep condition not related to ME/CFS) may not be eligible.
- People with serious hormonal or gland-related conditions, such as problems with the pituitary or adrenal glands, may not be eligible.
- People whose symptoms might be better explained by another medical condition may not be eligible (confirm with trial site).
