Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) that has lasted for at least 2 years, based on standard medical guidelines.
- You have a good level of self-awareness about your condition, meaning you recognise that your thoughts and behaviours are related to OCD (assessed using a specific scale — confirm with trial site).
- You are not currently going through a depressive episode and are not at risk of suicide (confirmed using specific rating scales).
- You do not have epilepsy.
- Your OCD is considered severe, based on a standard OCD scoring tool called the YBOCS (confirm with trial site).
- Your OCD has not responded to treatment — meaning you have tried at least 2 antidepressant medications at the right dose for long enough, and/or had Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for at least 1 year without sufficient improvement.
- Your medication has been stable (unchanged dose) for more than 12 weeks without significant improvement, and you would need to keep it the same during the study.

- You are covered by social security or through a third party.

- You are currently in hospital under a compulsory/involuntary psychiatric order.
- You are under legal guardianship or a similar form of supervised legal protection.
