For participants with ADHD:

  • People who have previously taken any medication to treat ADHD symptoms

For participants without ADHD (comparison group):

  • People who have any brain, nervous system, or major physical health condition
  • People who have ever taken any psychiatric or mind-affecting medication, or who have a full IQ score of 80 or below
