Who might be able to join this trial:
For participants with ADHD:
- Children or teenagers between 6 and 18 years old who have been diagnosed with ADHD according to standard diagnostic guidelines (DSM-5)
- At the start of the study, participants must have an ADHD severity rating score above 4, as measured by a standard clinical assessment tool (confirm with trial site)

For participants without ADHD (comparison group):

Who may not be able to join:
For participants with ADHD:
- People who have another major mental health condition, such as autism, schizophrenia, mood disorders, or substance use problems
- People who have a major brain or nervous system condition, such as epilepsy
- People who have a major long-term physical health condition, such as diabetes or heart disease
- People who have previously taken any medication to treat ADHD symptoms
For participants without ADHD (comparison group):
- People who have any brain, nervous system, or major physical health condition
- People who have ever taken any psychiatric or mind-affecting medication, or who have a full IQ score of 80 or below
