- People with certain gut or digestive conditions, including coeliac disease, Crohn's disease, gastroparesis (slow stomach emptying), or those who have had part of their small intestine removed
- People whose cognitive (thinking and memory) difficulties, such as diagnosed dementia, would make it hard to follow the study procedures
- People with an allergy or intolerance to milk, soy, or spirulina
