Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 18 years or older.
  • People who have been diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) in its early, stable phase, and whose condition is suitable for treatment with tablets or capsules taken by mouth.
  • People who are newly starting an oral (by mouth) treatment for CML, including those switching from a previous treatment due to it not working well enough or causing side effects — as long as those side effects have cleared up or are very mild (grade 1 or lower) at the time of joining.
  • People whose care can be supported by an advanced practice nurse (a specially trained senior nurse).
  • People who can understand French and are able to fill in a questionnaire.

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have already been receiving follow-up care from an advanced practice nurse for CML for more than 3 months before the trial starts.
  • People switching treatments because of side effects, if those side effects are still more than very mild (above grade 1) at the time of joining.
  • People who are already taking part in another interventional clinical trial for CML.
  • People who are pregnant.
  • People who are under legal protection, have restricted personal liberty, or are in a situation where participation in a research study is not permitted under applicable rules (confirm with trial site).
