  • People whose lung cancer contains a mix of different cancer cell types
  • People with poorly controlled blood pressure (top number 150 or above, or bottom number 100 or above)
  • People where scans show the tumour is growing into or very close to major blood vessels, raising the risk of serious bleeding
  • People who have had a blood clot, stroke, or related event (such as deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism) in the past 6 months
  • People who have difficulty swallowing, have had part of their stomach or bowel removed, have ongoing severe diarrhoea, or have a bowel blockage that could affect taking oral medication
  • People who have brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain) that are causing symptoms
  • People who have had a serious heart condition — such as a heart attack, unstable chest pain, heart failure, or severe uncontrolled irregular heartbeat — within the 6 months before joining
  • People with an active or uncontrolled serious infection
  • People with severe liver disease, cirrhosis, or active hepatitis
  • People whose urine tests show high levels of protein (confirmed by a 24-hour urine collection showing more than 1.0g of protein)
  • People with active tuberculosis
  • Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People who, in the judgement of the medical team, have other serious conditions (including mental illness), significant abnormal test results, or personal or social circumstances that could affect their safety or the quality of the trial data
