Who might be able to join this trial:

• Children who are between 8 and 12 years old
• Children who have been formally diagnosed with OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) as their main and most troubling problem, confirmed through standardized assessments
• Children whose OCD symptoms score at a certain level of severity on a standard rating scale (confirm with trial site)
• Children who are not currently taking any psychiatric medications, or who have been off such medications for at least 3 months
• Children who are not currently receiving any therapy or other treatment for OCD
• Children and families who are able to go without other treatments during the study period (the only treatment would be the therapy provided by the trial)
• Children who are able to give their agreement to take part in the study

Who may not be able to join:

• Children who have been diagnosed with certain other mental health conditions, such as major depression, PTSD, psychosis, bipolar disorder, an eating disorder, or a developmental disorder (confirm with trial site for the full list)
• Children who are currently having thoughts of suicide or self-harm
• Girls who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• Children who have a significant ongoing medical condition or neurological (brain or nervous system) problem, such as uncontrolled high blood pressure, seizures, or a history of serious head injury
• Children whose urine test shows the presence of illegal drugs
• Children who have any metal devices in their body or who wear dental braces
• Children whose IQ is below 80
