Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People diagnosed with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that is at stage III and has not spread to distant parts of the body.
  • People who are 18 years of age or older.
  • People whose treatment plan includes surgery and/or radiotherapy with the goal of curing the cancer.
  • People who are able to understand and sign a written consent form agreeing to take part.
  • People who have had certain scans and tests completed, including a contrast-enhanced CT scan of the chest and abdomen (or PET/CT scan), a brain MRI or CT scan, and breathing function tests (confirm with trial site for exact requirements).
  • People from whom enough tumour tissue can be collected for testing — either before or after surgery (confirm with trial site for exact laboratory requirements).

Who may not be able to join:

  • People whose cancer has been confirmed to have spread to distant parts of the body.
  • People who have both NSCLC and another type of cancer at the same time (except for certain non-melanoma skin cancers).
  • People who have had another type of cancer in the past, unless it was a non-melanoma skin cancer, or a cancer that was fully treated more than 5 years ago with no signs of return.
  • People who the trial team believes are unlikely to follow the trial requirements, such as attending all necessary visits.
  • People for whom no suitable tumour tissue sample is available, or where the sample does not contain enough tumour cells to meet testing requirements.
