Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 70 years old
- People who have been diagnosed with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) — meaning the leukemia has come back or stopped responding to treatment — whether it developed on its own or as a result of another condition

Who may not be able to join:
- People diagnosed with a specific type of leukemia called acute promyelocytic leukemia
- People who have a current or past disorder affecting the brain or nervous system
- People who test positive for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, HIV, or Syphilis, or who have a certain level of a virus called CMV detected in their blood
- People who have had a serious allergic reaction in the past
- People who have had a heart attack, heart procedure, unstable chest pain, significant heart failure, atrial fibrillation, or other serious heart condition within the 12 months before joining
- People who have had an organ transplant at any point
- People who need to take ongoing medications that suppress the immune system
- People who have had a stem cell transplant using their own cells within the 3 months before joining
- People with active autoimmune or inflammatory conditions affecting the nervous system, or active conditions affecting blood flow in the brain (confirm specific conditions with trial site)
- People who need urgent treatment for a serious, immediate complication of their leukemia (confirm with trial site)
- People who have an active infection that is not under control or that requires ongoing treatment with antimicrobial medicines
- People who have received a live vaccine within 4 weeks before joining
- People with a serious mental illness
- People who have had major surgery within 4 weeks before joining
- People with a history of alcoholism or drug/substance abuse
- People considered unsuitable to participate by the investigators for any other reason
