Who might be able to join this trial:
- People diagnosed with diffuse midline glioma (a type of brain or spinal cord tumor) according to the 2021 World Health Organization classification, including a specific type called diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). If there is no confirmed tissue diagnosis, people with a high-grade (grade IV) glioma located in certain areas of the brain or spinal cord, such as the thalamus, brainstem, cerebellum, or spinal cord, may also be considered.
- People at any level of health or physical ability, with any other health conditions or any severity of disease.
- People, or their legal representative, who are willing and able to give electronic informed consent (and agreement from the patient themselves, if required by age or circumstance).
- People who have already given consent to participate in a separate long-term outcomes registry study (known as the XCELSIOR registry, trial number NCT03793088).
- People who live in, or are receiving medical care within, the United States or its territories.
Who may not be able to join:
- Cases where neither the patient nor their legal representative is able to provide informed consent.
- Cases where neither the patient nor their caregiver is able to complete the required questionnaires through an electronic platform.
