Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are within 3 years (plus or minus 6 months) of finishing treatment for their first cancer
- People whose first cancer treatment included at least one of the following high-risk therapies, as defined by the Canadian Oncology Group: alkylating agent chemotherapy drugs; platinum-based chemotherapy drugs; radiation to the abdomen or whole body; high-dose methotrexate; stem cell transplant; removal of a kidney (nephrectomy); or other treatments known to possibly cause long-term kidney or blood pressure problems
Who may not be able to join:
- People who had severe chronic kidney disease before their cancer diagnosis, or who have previously had a kidney transplant
- People who were older than 19 years of age at the point 3 years after completing their cancer treatment
