- People currently taking long-term medications, including antidepressants, antipsychotics, benzodiazepines, or beta-blockers, among others
- People who have experienced a mood-related episode such as depression or bipolar disorder in the past 6 months
- People who have a pacemaker (a device implanted to help regulate heartbeat)
- People who are minors or adults who are under legal guardianship
