Who might be able to join this trial:
- Children aged 7 to 11 years (in 2nd through 5th grade) who attend a school that is taking part in the study
- Children who have been referred by a school mental health provider because of concerns related to ADHD
- Children who show six or more ADHD-related symptoms (either inattention or hyperactivity/impulsivity) based on ratings from both a parent and a teacher using a standard checklist
- Children whose ADHD-related difficulties are causing noticeable problems both at home and at school, as rated by both a parent and a teacher on a standard scale
- Children whose caregiver and teacher have agreed to take part, and the child has also agreed to participate
Who may not be able to join:
- Children who have conditions that would make the study's treatment unsuitable, including severe vision or hearing problems, severe delays in language or learning, psychosis, or a pervasive developmental disorder
- Children who spend their entire school day in a specialised special education classroom
- Children, or their parent or primary caregiver, who do not speak or read English or Spanish, as all study materials and sessions are in those two languages only
- Children who are planning to start or stop any psychiatric medication during the study period (children who are already on stable medication for attention or behaviour may still be considered eligible, provided they meet all other entry requirements — confirm with trial site)
