Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study
- You must be male and between 19 and 49 years old with a confirmed diagnosis of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA)
- You must not currently be taking any medication or treatment specifically designed to treat or modify SMA
- You must have recovered from any recent illness and be healthy enough to take part in the study at the time of your screening appointment
Who may not be able to join:
- You may not be able to join if you have previously had chemotherapy or radiation therapy
- You may not be able to join if you have a history of prostate or testicular cancer
- You may not be able to join if you were born with undescended testicles
- You may not be able to join if you have previously used or are currently using anabolic steroids or testosterone
