Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults who have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD) based on 2024 international kidney health guidelines, shown by either abnormal kidney function blood tests or unusual levels of protein in the urine
- People who had a kidney MRI scan performed within 7 days of having a kidney biopsy (a procedure where a small sample of kidney tissue is taken for testing)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have cancer of the urinary or reproductive system, a condition called polycystic kidney disease (where cysts grow on the kidneys), a history of kidney transplant, or sudden (acute) kidney failure
- People who are unable to have an MRI scan for medical reasons, such as having certain metal implants or devices in their body (confirm with trial site)
- People whose MRI scan images did not turn out clearly enough to be used
- People whose MRI scan showed a misshapen kidney or a serious build-up of fluid in the kidney (severe hydronephrosis)
- People whose MRI scan did not clearly show the boundary between the two main inner layers of the kidney (confirm with trial site)
