Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged between 18 and 80 years old.

• People with a type of lung cancer called squamous cell carcinoma who have previously been treated with a drug called bevacizumab before radiation therapy.
• People who are unlikely to be able to follow the treatment schedule as required by the trial.
• People who have another active cancer that is not currently under control.
• People whose radiation treatment plan cannot meet the required minimum dose to the tumour or the safety limits for surrounding healthy tissue and organs.
• People who have previously had radiation therapy to the chest, or have had radioactive particles implanted in the chest area.
• People who have a cardiac pacemaker or other internal metal implants that could be affected by high-energy radiation or could interfere with the accuracy of the radiation treatment.
• People who are pregnant (confirmed by a blood or urine test) or currently breastfeeding.
• People who are HIV positive, people with a hepatitis virus infection in an active replication phase who need antiviral treatment but cannot receive it due to other health conditions, or people with an active syphilis infection.
• People with a history of mental illness that may make it difficult to complete the treatment program.
• People with serious other health conditions that could interfere with radiation therapy, including: active infections; unstable chest pain, heart failure, or a heart attack requiring hospitalisation in the past 6 months; a flare-up of a chronic lung condition requiring hospitalisation; severely weakened immune function; rare conditions that cause extreme sensitivity to radiation (such as ataxia telangiectasia); or other conditions the medical team considers likely to affect treatment.
• People whom the treating doctor considers unsuitable for the trial for any other reason.
