Who might be able to join this trial:

• People aged 18 or older who are willing and able to sign a written consent form
• People who have been diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that has spread to other parts of the body, with at least one tumour large enough to be measured on scans
• People whose cancer has continued to grow or spread during or after at least one previously approved drug treatment
• People who have stored tumour tissue samples available from a previous biopsy or surgery
• People who are reasonably active and able to carry out basic daily activities (a doctor will assess this using a standard scale)
• People who have finished their last cancer treatment at least 2 weeks before the initial scan, and whose side effects from that treatment have mostly cleared up
• People whose blood counts are within acceptable ranges, including white blood cells, platelets, and haemoglobin (confirm with trial site)
• People whose liver and kidney function blood test results are within acceptable ranges
• People with a life expectancy of at least 3 months
• People who are able to lie still without moving for 30 to 60 minutes during a scan
• For the treatment part of the trial: people who have completed the initial scan and whose scan shows the cancer is visible using the special imaging agent used in this trial

Who may not be able to join:

• People with severe heart failure (classified as Class 3 or 4 on a standard medical scale)
• People who have had significant bleeding, such as from the stomach, intestines, or brain, within the two weeks before joining the trial
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People who have had major surgery involving general anaesthesia within 28 days before the trial starts, or who are expected to need such surgery within 6 weeks of starting
• People who have another active cancer that has required treatment within the past 2 years (certain early-stage, treated skin cancers and some non-invasive cancers may be exceptions — confirm with trial site)
• People with an active bacterial, viral, or fungal infection that has not been controlled despite treatment
• People with mental health or personal circumstances that would make it difficult to follow the trial requirements
• People who weigh more than 350 pounds (approximately 159 kg), as the scanning equipment has a weight limit
• People with known scarring or inflammation of the lung tissue (interstitial lung disease or pulmonary fibrosis)
• People with blood clotting test results outside the acceptable range (confirm with trial site)
