  • You have also been diagnosed with at least one addiction problem, such as a substance use disorder (e.g., alcohol, drugs) or a behavioural addiction (e.g., gambling)

  • If you are able to take methylphenidate, you have not yet started taking it

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have significant problems with thinking, memory, or understanding that would make it impossible to collect data during the study (your doctor or the trial team will assess this)
  • You have difficulty reading or writing in French to a level that would prevent you from completing study tasks
  • You are unable to commit to attending the 2 scheduled visits required by the study
  • You are under guardianship or any form of legal protection
  • You have used any psychoactive substances (such as alcohol, drugs, or certain medications that affect the mind) in the 12 hours before your visit
