Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You have a suspected lung scarring/inflammation condition (known as interstitial lung disease)
- You have had a detailed chest CT scan within the last 3 months
- Your lung capacity (the amount of air your lungs can hold) is at least 50% of what is considered normal for someone like you
- Your lungs' ability to transfer oxygen into the blood is at least 35% of what is considered normal for someone like you
- You have had a heart ultrasound (echocardiography) within the last 12 months
- The pressure in the blood vessels of your lungs is at or below a certain level (40 mmHg) (confirm with trial site)
- Your body mass index (a measure of body weight relative to height) is 35 or below
- You are willing to give your consent to take part in the study
Who may not be able to join:
- Your blood does not clot properly — either because your platelet count (cells that help stop bleeding) is too low, or because a blood clotting test called INR shows a result higher than 1.5 (confirm with trial site)
- You do not wish to take part in the trial
