Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older and considered a legal adult in their country at the time they enter the study
- People who have been confirmed by their treating doctor to have a primary liver or bile duct cancer (specifically, unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma or advanced biliary tract cancer)
- People whose type of liver or bile duct cancer is one that the treating doctor has approved for treatment with a durvalumab-based medicine — either because it is supported by major clinical trial results (from trials called HIMALAYA or TOPAZ-1) in their country, or because the medicine was provided through an early access programme
- People from whom consent to participate was properly obtained according to their country's rules, on or after the date they entered the study
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are currently participating in, were previously participating in, or plan to participate in another clinical trial testing an investigational treatment for liver or bile duct cancer, from the time of their diagnosis up to the date they would enter this study
- People who received other systemic (whole-body) treatments for their liver or bile duct cancer before starting a durvalumab-based treatment — for example, someone with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma or advanced biliary tract cancer who received a different systemic treatment before beginning durvalumab
- People who received a liver transplant during the period leading up to the time they would enter the study
