Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with axial spondyloarthritis (a type of inflammatory arthritis affecting the spine, either confirmed on X-ray or not yet visible on X-ray) or psoriatic arthritis (a type of arthritis linked to psoriasis).
- If you are a woman, you are either post-menopausal for at least 2 years, have had a surgical procedure that means you cannot get pregnant, or you are using an effective form of contraception such as the pill, contraceptive injections, an intrauterine device (coil), a double-barrier method, or contraceptive patches.
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently taking any of the following medications: cyclosporine, diuretics (water tablets), ACE inhibitors, or angiotensin II receptor blockers (certain types of blood pressure or heart medications).
- You are currently being treated with, or have been treated within the last 6 months with, certain targeted medicines known as anti-IL-17A drugs (such as secukinumab, ixekizumab, bimekizumab, or brodalumab) or anti-IL-23 drugs (such as ustekinumab, guselkumab, risankizumab, or tildrakizumab).
- You are taking steroid tablets (such as prednisone or equivalent) at a dose higher than 10 mg per day.
- You are currently pregnant.
