Who might be able to join this trial:
- The family's country of origin is Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, or Yemen
- The family is living in Chicago as a refugee family and has been there for less than three years
- The household includes at least one adult caregiver between the ages of 18 and 55, and at least one of their children who is 12 years old or older
- At least one family member scores above 3 on a mental health screening questionnaire called the GHQ-12 (confirm with trial site)
- All participating family members are able to provide written agreement to take part in the study

- The family is not originally from one of the listed Arabic-speaking Middle Eastern countries: Iraq, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, or Yemen
- There is no child aged 12 or older living in the same household as the adult caregiver
- The family arrived in the United States as refugees more than three years ago
- A family member has a developmental disability that would prevent them from taking part in the program being studied
- A family member has a serious mental health condition such as thoughts of suicide or a psychotic disorder, is currently dealing with active substance use, or the family is currently in a crisis situation such as domestic violence or divorce proceedings
